San Fran Ghost Trip

We left at 5:30am Saturday, arrived in San Fran a little before noon.

Whitney, Tomlinson and I got in a car and just headed up to San Francisco for a 2 day get away. We all decided we needed to get out of Orange County for a bit and go on a little adventure.
So, with no real plan, we pilled into a car and headed north.

We began our adventure down by the wharf, where we grabbed a bite to eat at the Pier 39 Market. I had to have a bowl of clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl…. I mean come on, it’s SF!
Chris found a store called Treasure Ireland (I know cute name, right?!). Everything in the store was from Ireland, or representing Irish culture. He found a tweed hat that was some $80, but apparently handmade in Ireland by a family that has been making the hats for more than a century.
We spent time in Golden Gate Park, which is officially one of my favorite places in the world. The park is almost 50 blocks long and is covered with trees, and hills. It really does put Central Park to shame … sorry New York.

The three of us climbed on the roof of an abandoned building and simply enjoyed the cool, salty air and our view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Good times! That moment alone was worth the 6 hour drive.
For whatever reason, I was beginning to feel really claustrophobic in the OC and getting out with two of my closest friend with no plan, other than getting away, was so refreshing.
The three musketeers exploring Golden Gate Park!
(Please note Tomlinson's outfit)

Whitney and I convinced Tomlinson to let us do a wardrobe change for us at H&M in Union Square. I am not going to lie, he looks pretty handsome. So ladies, be prepared because he should be wearing this very outfit to Crave on Thursday :-)

There is a town off the 101, where you can get garlic ice cream.... ummm not so good, but we did taste it!

I must say, California is one of the coolest places to live. There are not many places you can be at the beach one minute, the mountains the next and open farm land another. God is good!

All in all, it was a wonderful and much needed trip, for the three of us. I cannot wait to head back their soon with my small group girls!

Jeremy's Home!

Soldier Boy is Home!
Jeremy returned from a 5 month tour in Iraq, serving as a fire fighter in the United States Air Force.

We are so happy he’s home safe and back in the OC for a 2 week leave.

Love you Mr. Squishy.

22nd Year

Happy Birthday Alex!

My wonderful friend Alex celebrated her 22nd birthday Jan. 27th. I must say, she is probably one of the best people I have every met and I am so blessed to know her as a close friend.

Dinner at her house and them music/drinks (soda for me J) at the Gypsy Lounge. I was pretty impressed when Alex was laughing like crazy to Megan’s Sara Palin impressions. Good times.
